Coming Monday, January 17
Before "The Gathering Voices Team" had a name, we were simply "The Blog Team." Of course, we knew we needed a name and so we called a meeting to discuss why we thought this new blog was so important and what we hoped to add to The Thoughtful Christian, a marketplace including books and downloadable resources for individuals and churches. We decided that what was missing was a place for the myriad of voices of Thoughtful Christian users to gather together. And finally, our name formed: Gathering Voices: Faithful Conversations from The Thoughtful Christian.
If you are a pastor, church educator, professor, lay leader, book buyer, or someone interested in religion in today's world, you are sure to find daily posts that will spark your interests. And, we hope you will let your voice be heard by commenting, questioning, and becoming involved in the daily posts.

Then, on Wednesdays, we invite the authors of the downloadable studies that post each Wednesday on www.TheThoughtfulChristian.com to be featured bloggers the week their study posts so leaders and participants can delve even deeper into the study topic.
Whether it's a way to begin your day, a part of your lunch break, or how you unwind after a long day, make Gathering Voices the place you come to learn more about spirituality, ministry, popular culture, engaging news stories, and find out how these everyday stories can become a part of your religious life and spiritual journey.
