New This Week - "Understanding Zimbabwe"

Dear Thoughtful Christians,

The world is a colorful landscape of different cultures, skin colors, languages, politics, and religions. It's important to develop an appreciation for different cultures in order to become a well-rounded person who is sensitive to the unique qualities of others. One way to develop this appreciation is by learning about other cultures around the world. This week we're adding a study on the African nation of Zimbabwe. Consider doing a summer series called "Understanding Our World" and use the following studies from our Contemporary Issues category:

-Introduction to the Middle East
-Understanding Cuba
-Understanding Iran
-Understanding Kenya
-Understanding Sudan/Darfur
-Understanding Zimbabwe

Here are this week's new studies as well as other highlights.
